What an honor and privilege to work with some of the best clients in Fort Worth!

I was asked to expand and improve a gorgeous garden in Wedgwood East that has been carefully planted and cared for with so much love and thoughtfulness since 2020. 💕🥰
Wow! 15 feet and one last show! 

Agave Death Bloom a.k.a “the giant asparagus spear!” 

2 1/2 weeks of growth

Expected height before blooming - 10 to 30 feet

I am guessing it is about 12-15 ft now? I am 5’9” as reference.
I always stand in amazement and marvel at the beauty of the Peggy Martin Rose! 

This is ONE vine that was planted in 2020. It was a tiny cutting given to me by a fellow friend and master gardener, Marie Jose. 

Best. Gift. Ever. 🌹

Wow! I was leaving the house yesterday and stopped immediately when I saw this huge bloom stalk from my Agave plant! 😮 

I am both super excited and super sad.

Why?

Agaves are monocarpic. That means they flower ONCE in a lifetime. Then, the mother
Such a sweet little purple plant, and not utilized enough!

Purple Oxalis
Oxalis triangularis 

Great for shady spots near the flower bed borders. Such. Nice contrast to a backdrop of green foliage. 

Tucks in nicely under Oakleaf hydrangea.
